Luke & Rosa Online

Wow, it's been a while since we updated this, I wouldn't be surprised if no one saw this. Where to begin? We've been busy and forgetting all kinds of things. Anyways, Emery smiles now. It's the cutest thing EVAR. He's also starting to laugh, poor little guy he gets the hiccups every time he laughs. It's still cute though. I would post some pictures, but there are too many to chose from. I do have a  couple uploaded to my Facebook account. If you wanna see those look up my name on Faceook, it's not much but I would rather not spend a lot of time on things like that. I'm also going to get a Twitter account, but I would reccomend NOT following me on that account.

So that's what is going on here.

It's been a while since I've been online so I thought I would post to let everyone who reads this thing know how it's going. Emery is being a baby and Landon is being a toddler. That is pretty much it. Anyways, I don't know if Luke posted this before but if you go to http://dubber.name/ you can see a bunch of pictures of the kids. He's working on a new album type thingy, but that's what we have for now.

Oh yeah, apparently Emery's nickname is "M&M", Luke came up with that one.

April 7th 2009 Rosa had our second (and Rosa thinks last) baby Emery Nostromo Dubber. Here are some pictures.

He was 6 LBS and 6.5 OZ he is 19 Inches long. Here is a cute picture of him. Also he has a full head of dark hair just like his mom and brother did.

So,the due date for the new baby is still April 24th and that is coming up really soon. The baby seems to be doing well, he moves around a lot. Actually all his moving wakes me up at night so I've been really tired lately. Anyways, last weekend we went to Anchorage to visit the Imaginarium and see my family. It was so much fun, we also went to Chuck E. Cheese's and Landon ran around for three hours straight. We got to see my sisters and my brother as well as Gavin and Mateo. My parents were also there so it was really nice, too bad we didn't get Tayler though. Oh well.

On Monday Luke and I bought a new camera. We decided that we needed a new one for when the baby gets here. My old camera is starting to take bad pictures, although it did serve me well since I was in high school. I wanted to get another Sony, but this camera has proved itself be surviving a pretty big fall. Luke put it on top of a box of chocolates on a really high shelf so I didn't know it was up there. I pulled the box down and the camera fell down and I thought I lost the SD card. Luke found the SD card and the camera is working just fine.

So, not much happening lately. We found out that the new baby is a boy. His name will be Emery Nostromo Dubber. The name Nostromo comes from the movie Alien, it was the name of the spaceship that the movie took place on. Awesome, I know.

Anyways, Landon has been talking more and more. Well, he's been trying anyways. Luke tried to get him to say "Mom, give dad a kiss." He got most of it right except for the last part. It turns out that if he can't say a word he will replace it with one he can say so Landon said "Mom, give dad a poop." That had us laughing for a while. He's such a fucking cutie.

As you can probably tell, I changed our userpics a little. I can't find a good and recent picture of all three of us together so I don't have a new family icon. Actually, I don't even have one of Luke and I. Maybe someday one of friends can take some pictures of us together since we don't have many.

We need to update this LJ. Well, Luke should. We took a lot of cute pictures and we really should upload them so everyone can see. We have some pictures from Halloween, they're pretty cute. :)

Today we went to Fred Meyer's to pick up stuff for the cats. When we got there poor Landon was so cold he was shivering. We didn't put a sweater on him so we bought him one while we were there. He likes it, it's soft and blue. It was also on sale. We also decided on a Halloween costume for him. He's going to be a NASCAR pit crew member. I dunno we thought it was cute. Luke's dad is a big fan of NASCAR. When we were checking out there was another family at the self check out. They had a little girl and Landon kept pointing at her and demanding that she sit next to him. I think it was creeping her out because he was being so demanding. It was funny, Landon creeps girls out already. Like father like son. :P

I had to change the theme of our Livejournal. We can't use the other one because I downgraded our account to a basic one. I didn't like having advertisements on the page. It looks a bit tacky.

We cut Landon's hair the other dya. I mentioned it in my other journal. We took some cute pictures, but because I didn't have the USB cable I won't be able to post them. His hair looks really good. He's not bald like the last time, but his hair is much shorter. He looks like a little white boy, well even more so then usual. I hope this next baby looks like me so that people will actually think it's my kid.

Anyways, Luke and I finally decided on a name for the new baby if it's a boy. If the baby is a girl we're calling her Kori, but if it's a boy we are calling him Allen. Luke said the name by accident, but we both like it and it sounds good so we agreed on it. Allen Rodger Dubber.

I'm so happy that we are getting a house, but I can't wait to move into it. It will be another week or so until we can. That sucks, but at least the previous owners said they would clean it up when they left. I want to see Starla again. Oh yeah, her whole name is Starla Prettykitty. I think it's cute. I also feel really bad that I can't help Luke pack and move our stuff out of the apartment. My brother is going to help him move over the weekend, but that is just to get our stuff out. We're going to have to move things into the house later. It just sucks. D:

I don't feel well. It sucks being pregnant.

Landon loves ice cream. He even loves space ice cream. Rosa has yet to try out the space ice cream. But Landon and I enjoy it. He also enjoys strawberry milk shakes.

He did the cuties thing yesterday. He would make this kind of laser shooting noise and push out his hands kinda like Iron Man. Then Rosa would fall over and play dead. I would tell him to go wake her up and he would go and push on her arm and then give her a kiss and she would wake up. Well they did that off and on for a bit. Then Rosa had Landon turn his cuteness on me and do it to me. Well I played along and was thinking 'I am going to get a Landon kiss'. But that was not the plan for me instead he would go up and whisper in my ear it was so cute I just cracked up laughing and had to hug him. So he did that to Rosa and I for a while last night.

Bubble baths. Oh he loves them. Well not at first. At first he was weary of the new bubbles he would get some on his arm and wine and go under the running water and wash it off. Then after a bit he started to play with them. I then showed him how to blow on them. The second time we did it he went crazy with them he would push them around and pounce on them like a cat and squeal with delight. I am glad he was having fun.

Ros and I are seeing if we are finance for a house. I hope we are we would like to start to own instead of renting.

The weekend was fun. Rosa, Landon and I sent to the Alaska State Fair. Landon loved it. He go to ride a pony (pictures soon I hope).  It was very tiring lots of walking and Landon wanted to walk on his own. Good thing we had the monkey.

I picked up a new wedding band for Rosa. It’s nice to see her wearing one again. Oh also Rosa got some really cool butterflies in a frame. It’s kind of creepy but very neat at the same time.  The food was great though expect for the Palmer Inn. We went there and it took them about an hour to get us served kind of ticked me off so I gave her no tip.  

Landon loved the pony ride I put him on it and he rubbed the main and got so happy then when it went around he pushed me away so that I would not hold his back up (he was secure though). He was so happy with himself and the whole experience. We wanted to give him another ride but the line was way to long later on during the day. We did go on some kid rides (we have pictures hope to post soon) two merry-go-round  one with me and then one with Rosa. Then Racheal and Landon went on this kids train thing and Landon enjoyed it. We also played games Landon remembered them from the carnival in Kenai. He did a great job and won several stuffed animals.  He had a blast. He got so tired he fell asleep the last two hours we where there trying to find Racheal.

We did run into Pablo though. Now that was funny. Racheal told me she saw him so I called him on his cell and asked where he was he said at the palmer fair. I said I know where you are at but where in the fair are you. He was surprised to see us. It was fun he hung out for a couple of hours since he was there kind of alone.

We spent so much time there I got sub burnt and Rosa go a tan.  We enjoyed the food though we had bread bowl, Rosa loved it she always wanted one and it was good we had Chick and Wild Rice. We also had fresh Funnel cake, doughnuts, turkey leg, pulled pork and other snakes though out the day.

People always think that Landon’s not Rosa’s kid. When we where in line someone thought Racheal was Landon’s mother. And when we went to dinner with Rosa’s mom they thought it was her kid.  I think it’s because he look so white and Rosa started to get her tan. It was a blast though a lot of fun and bonding and being with my family.

I can’t wait until I can take the other one with us to the fair. But that’s a few years away.

Today Rosa and I went to Fred Meyers and of course Landon was with us. Well while we where there we ran into Rachael's mother. She loves Landon, pretty much she is one of Landon's honorary grandmas. Ever time he sees her he wants to be held by her. Well while walking around Fred Meyers we ran into her and well Landon wanted out of our cart and into hers. Well we moved him over and then he waved 'bye bye' to us and pushed Rosa and I away. Well we talked around the store for a bit since Rachael's mother did not mind having Landon.

We would come back and he would push us away and say and wave 'bye bye'. So then we would head off. On the third or fourth time we did this he wanted us back. It was nice to seem him reaching for us and being so happy. I think he just had his fun with her. But he did give her a hug before we parted.

I just think its so cute that he loves her so much. I hope he is always like that.


We went to blockbuster also today and well Landon had a blast. He kept running up and down the aisle and Rosa and I would cut him off. It was so cute. Well the cuteness did not last forever. We where getting ready to leave and he ran at me and tripped over my foot and did not hit but SLAMMED into one of the shelves and it left a nasty long line on his cheek. I felt so bad for him he was crying and looked so upset. But after about 3 minutes he was fine. What a little trooper.

I have not posted about this yet but most people know this but Rosa is pregnant again. I am so happy I want more kids and she can have them so it works out great. I love her. I love it also when she is later on in the pregnancy when she has the tummy its so freaking cute.

So our good friend Emma came over to our apartment last night. She made Luke some desert that doesn't  appeal to me. Anyways, it's so cute, Landon just adores Emma. When he noticed that she was there he ran up to her to give her a hug and then he tried to show her his toys. After a while she laid down in his bed with him, it was cute. I got some pictures of that and I'm sure that Emma won't mind if I post them.

Right now I'm at Luke's parent's house. I'm doing all our laundry while Luke's mom is in Homer with some visitors from out of state. It's been nice to get out of the apartment. Not that I don't mind being there. A change of pace never hurts. It's been really quiet, well other than the creepy meow that comes from Ni, their cat. I swear it's getting creepier by the day.

The weekend was really nice. Luke and I didn't spend a lot of alone time together, but it was still really nice. We finally bought a new rug for the living room. I can't remember what else we did, but it was a good weekend. I can't wait until this weekend.

Oh yeah, I remember something else we did. We saw some cuties in the parking lot of Fred Meyer's so when we went in we looked for them so we could get a better view. I think there were four of them.

Hmmm, for a while Landon was really good at sleeping in his own bed, but lately he wakes up and cries or just sneaks into our bed. I hope this doesn't continue. He likes his bed and all, but something must be going on. I think it's just too cold in there.

Landon was grumpy the other day he did not want to play or do much of anything but throw fits and cry. But that all changed once I took his diaper off and told him to hop in the bath tub. Thats when Emma or friend took over. She and him had a whole lot of fun, he loves to take baths and showers. If I go to take a shower and he is awake he will try to clime in even if he has diaper on. Some times he tries to take the diaper off before trying.

The picture of Marshmallow baby have been developed I will try to upload them soon.

Rosa and I have been trying to get out more and take Landon to go play the day before yesterday we went to the park by Racheals house he had a lot of fun. He started this one game where Rosa and Racheal would ask for some sand he would bring it over and give it to them. But then the game changed he started to only give to Rachael even when Rosa asked for it.
He also liked the moms there, once everyone started to leave Landon would go over and trap there finger and walk with them as if he was going home with them. The ladies thought it was cute, I tried to let them know it was ok to take him but I think we would miss him.

,So, Luke and I spent all day yesterday getting the computers out of the "office" so we can turn it into Landon's room. The computers are  now in our room and Landon's room is doubling as storage. So far it's a good arrangement. Landon slept in  his own room for a a few hours, but at some point he fell out of bed so Luke brought him into our room, even though he could have just put him back in his own bed. I think if we give it time he will stop falling out of bed.

Landon's roommates are the rats, so far they don't bug each other at all.

We had four book cases at one point, but because we wanted more space we got rid of three of them. Now we only have a small one in the living room area. We had about fourteen boxes filled with books and manga. It feels good to have all that space, but it looks strange to have all the books missing.

I feel bad for the cats. They were getting so stressed out, I think they were thinking that we were going to move again. Poor things. Oh well, Luke and I decided to stay here as long as we can. I think that cats are liking the new arrangements already.

I took Landon to the grocery store today and he had been at grandma and grandpa's house and was very, very tired. He kept falling sleep and then laying his head on the cart and then waking up since it was so hard. So I passed by some marshmallows and thought that might make a good pillow.

Well I was right he fell right to sleep. The cuteness does not end there several people smiled and laughed and said it was so cute that he was using it as a pillow. Several people thought it was a pretty neat idea. My two favorite moments was one lady who had to point this out to her daughters and said it was the cutest thing she had seen. She was nice. The final moment was when one women behind me in the checkout line told her friend on the phone and then get off the phone and asked if she could take a picture will her phone and send it to her friend. I said yes. It was so cute though that I had to go grab a disposable Kodak camera and take some pictures which I will post once I get them. I took about 10 different pictures with and with out flash at different angels. I might add that I take very very bad pictures so if they turn out blurry or just bad sorry, it can not be helped.
